CM Pen Pal Project: Week 1: Introductions

Hello to our pen pals !

my family and i are so excited to embark on this project. As many of you know, i've been part of the Clickinmom's community since 2011. CM is a great place to learn about photography and since then, i've also made lots of new friends from all over the world and learnt about their lives through their lenses. Now, i have lucky to embark on a 'pen pal' project where i will get to write to my friend Beckie and her family ...

first up, i will be introducing my family:

this is daddy, Marc. He's turning 40 this year and works in a company handling welding equipment.

Next is ME.......i'm Megan, full time working mom. i work as a paralegal. I love coffee because it keeps me awake and love online shopping. favourite stores include, Anthropologie, ETSY, GAP, Garnet Hill.

Next up is firstborn, Amber Rae. She's turning 9 this year in November and currently in Primary 3. She loves to dance and sing. She's taking ballet, tap dancing and in the school choir.

Cadence is the middle child. She attends kindergarten for 3 hours daily and will move to Primary 1 next year. She loves to read and is very obliging and cooperative.

baby of the family is Declan Rhys Lim. He attends the same school as Cadence daily and he's in Nursery 2. He loves to copy whatever Cadence says or does. He's generally quite cooperative but occasionally will throw a tantrum and he just hit Cadence with a wooden block 2 days back. he loves to eat sandwiches more than rice.

oh and we also have a dog named Robbie. unfortunately he's a pretty snappy dog so he's not allowed to play with strangers. We picked him up in 2001 and he's been with us ever since.

Singapore is a small island at the tip of Peninsular Malaysia. Its so small that some world maps don't even have a good representation of the shape of this island. Well, Singapore is also called THE LITTLE RED Dot. Its small but has a population of nearly 5 million and will increase. Its a city full of tall concrete buildings and housing is expensive. We currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment of size 1227 sq feet. 

I'll post a proper house tour before next week so that we can show you where we live :)

Below is a picture of my family. Marc is taking the picture but on the left is my brother, my mom and my dad......the kids sleep over with them on friday nights and spend saturday there since my mom will cook for them.....that's the only day when i can sleep in.....
