new lens, new perspective...

I finally bought a new lens to try... i've been using my Canon Xsi (rebel, EOS 450D) and my lovely Sigma 30mm 1.4 prime lens for a year... i love it because it allows me take pictures indoor without using the flash. i am starting to dislike the camera for all the noise it gives me and i can't really take decent shots beyond ISO 400.

well anyway, i've been trying to take different kinds of photos and my prime lens has been kind of limiting. So i decided to get a Sigma 70-300mm telephoto lens just to try.....i can't say that i love it. it gives me a bad wrist ache and i had SO much camera shake that i either have to use flash or shoot in outdoors with lots and lots of light.

so just some pictures for viewing...

some images taken with my 30mm 1.4 and cropped. some taken with telephoto lens macro...can you tell which ones belong to which?
