i tried to organize a 'cake smash' for Declan. turned out that he really did smash the cake...but only with his butt because he sat on it!
he was interested in the toy figurine for a mere 2 seconds...and decided that his surroundings were more interesting...
cadence was more interested in the actual EATing...she took little bites...but soon discovered that it didn't taste that great. She promptly told me..."mummy, i don't like picnic; i want to sleep"...
the only child who thought that the whole picnic thing was fun, was of course amber! but she took the cake smash really literally, smashed her cake and smeared it all over her face!
i was appalled!
