oh before i forget... my baby names are not really random names. i need to feel inspired and have a good reason for using a name. of course the names have to sound nice too. and be unique and not too common....
Amber Rae Lim
Marc is born under the star sign LEO. Amber is the lucky charm for Leos. Amber was also linked to the name "rob" (from SURVIVOR-marquesas, the reality show and later on the All-Stars amazing race?)....our dog is called robbie, by the way. so for a while, we had Rob and Amber at home...We didn't really know where to start for a baby name, so we thought of names from the first letter-A. Also the first syllable and second syllable of "Amber" is A and B (Am--Ber, geddit?).....and this leads us to our second baby name...
Cadence Lim
First and second syllable of Cadence is C and D("Ca-Dence"). Cadence means "rhythm" in musical terms and she was always hiccupping in my tummy.....Cadence is a derivation of the musical term "CADENZA", which is also the name of my secondary school band concert.
most of all, one day we were looking and grandad's car and we said to amber that it starts with MAR.. for Megan Amber Rae and ...we realised that Megan Amber Rae are the first 3 letters of daddy's name... so that convinced us to choose a name beginning with "C" for the next baby....hence, MARC = Megan Amber Rae Cadence.
so there it goes....the origins of my baby names.........
