New Year's Day 2007

This was a picture taken on New Years Day.
My appetite has suddenly abandoned me and i absolutely have no desire to eat. ok, i do quite enjoy mangoes and Chinese pear and ice cream but when it comes to dinner time and marc asks what i wish to eat, i feel a bit pukey and not hungry.. maybe its the MSG making my tummy churn..

so usually he tries to offer me pasta and "western" food but my appetite has really not returned..

so on New year's day, he wanted to bring me to O'Brien's for breakfast as they serve a fantastic triple decker chicken sandwhich...but they weren't open till 11.30 and i was too hungry to wait..

we finally settled in this lovely looking restaurant called Abof Restaurant & Tea Lounge.I had tonkatsu with salad while marc had a burger.. food was ok but company was great! amber strangely behaves quite well in posh places like this one and doesn't run around or get off her chair like in hawker centres or chinese coffee shop stalls.
