It appears that even after her first pregnancy, second time mom Megan Lim, age 31, still manages to get strange questions from people around her about her maternity clothes.
The author is now upset and says that she reserves her rights to wear any outfit she deems fit and would make her pregnancy a more enjoyable experience.
Mrs Lim’s strange enquiries came mostly from her colleagues, who inquired whether the dress she was wearing yesterday was a NEW ONE. Other enquires included questions like “is this dress a maternity dress?” and comments like “you should not be wearing these shoes”.
The mother who is due in late June/early July, commented that there was never any need to obtain approval from colleagues before buying new clothes, shoes or any other items or neither is there any reason why expectant mothers should limit their wardrobe to only maternity clothing or shoes with heels of less than 0.05 mm.
Mrs Lim said she felt "puzzled" by her colleagues’ statements, and that she did not know about these particular “rules”.
